Krasnodar and Kocaeli May Become the Twin-Cities

Evgeny Pervyshov, Mayor of Krasnodar, held an official meeting with the delegation of the Kocaeli Province (Turkey). During the meeting parties discussed the prospects of the cooperation in the trade and economic spheres, as well as the possibility of establishing the twin-cities relations.

“Over the years, enterprises of the Republic of Turkey have been one of the main trade and economic partners of our city, along with the German and Chinese companies. In recent years, we regularly have negotiations with the Kocaeli leadership. It is especially significant that there are the representatives of the Industrial Chamber among the delegation’s members. This is a vivid confirmation of a readiness for the further trade and economic cooperation”, - said Evgeny Pervyshov.

Mayor noted that about 300 enterprises with foreign capital including well-known global brands are already operating in Krasnodar and stressed that the city administration is interested in new companies coming to Krasnodar.

The meeting was also attended by Emre Ozigci, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to Novorossiysk, and Ayhan Zeytinoglu, Chairman of the Kocaeli Industrial Chamber.
