Rasikh Sagitov Made Working Trips to Russian Cities

Rasikh Sagitov, Secretary General of UCLG-Eurasia, made working trips to a number of Russian cities: Veliky Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Cheboksary and Ulyanovsk.

On Tuesday, August 15, Rasikh Sagitov met with Alexander Rozbaum, Mayor of Veliky Novgorod. The next day negotiations were held with Vyacheslav Gavrilov, Deputy Mayor of Yaroslavl; after that, on August 17, there was a meeting with Evgeny Kadyshev, Head of the city of Cheboksary – Chairman of. Cheboksary City Assembly of Deputies; and on August 18, Friday, Rasikh Sagitov had an appointment with Ilya Nozhechkin, Chairman of Ulyanovsk City Council.

These working visits focused on the issues of cooperation, as well as the potential participation of the above cities in upcoming events, in particular, in the Russian-Chinese Forum “Rostki”, which will be held in Kazan on September 7-8 this year, and in the meetings of the UCLG World Council and Executive Bureau, the Council of UCLG-Eurasia in Konya (Türkiye) on October 26-28.
