In October 2025, the city of Yakutsk plans to place “people’s” bonds for the implementation of a project to green streets and public spaces on the marketplace “Finuslugi” [Financial Services] of Moscow Exchange. This has been stated on the sidelines of X Eastern Economic Forum by Evgeny Grigoriev, Head of Yakutsk.
The placement amount will be 30 million rubles, and the circulation period is 1 year. In 2026-2027, Yakutsk does not exclude new bond issues totaling about 216 million rubles for the implementation of one of the projects of the Yakutsk master plan “Stary Gorod – 2” [Ancient City – 2].
The Mayor of the capital of Yakutia took part as a speaker in the strategic session “Renewal of Far Eastern Cities: Plans and Realization”, sharing his experience of involving the population in the implementation of the master plan of the city until 2030.
"For Yakutsk, this is a new investment tool that will allow residents of the city to invest reliably and profitably and at the same time invest in the development of the urban economy. In addition, people can feel a greater sense of belonging to their hometown and treat it more carefully”, said Evgeny Grigoriev.
In total, due to the implementation of “people’s” bonds for landscaping streets and public spaces in Yakutsk, it is planned to plant more than 2,000 woody plants and sow a lawn with a total area of 7,500 square meters.
