The grand opening of the first Perm Ecological Culture Center took place in Perm. This Center is a new space where residents and guests of the Perm Region would be able to get acquainted with the region and its tourist potential. The opening ceremony was attended by Dmitry Makhonin, Governor of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Belanovich, Minister of Natural Resources, Forestry and Ecology of the Perm Territory, and Eduard Sosnin, Mayor of Perm.
The exhibition area of the Perm Ecological Culture Center is 260 sq.m. The space is divided into nine exhibition areas. Visitors can use modern multimedia tools such as phygital exhibits, VR applications and other multimedia elements. The Center will host film screenings, lectures, workshops, promotions and quests that enhance environmental literacy and foster respect for the environment, aimed at preserving the region’s natural heritage for future generations.
The Center also offers a variety of visiting formats adapted to different audiences: sightseeing and thematic tours, lectures, film screenings, master classes for adults and children.
