The interesting and diverse program of the festival attracted many residents and guests of the capital of Gagauzia.
Ambassador of Turkey Mehmet Karzhal, Ambassador of Bulgaria Georgi Panayotov, the Head of the Moscow delegation A.M. Kasyanov, the Head of the municipal district of Bavly A.G.Habibullin, parliamentary deputy of the Republic of Moldova Peter Vlach, Deputy Mayor of Beltzy A.Usaty and others addressed their words of congratulations to the leadership of the municipality and the residents of Comrat. They wished the people health, peaceful and clear skies above their heads, happiness and prosperity. The guests have noticed the results of work carried out by the mayor N.H. Dudoglo in upgrading and construction of infrastructure in the city, wished him good health and expressed their willingness to cooperate.
The delegation of the municipal district of Bavly led by the Head of the municipal district A.G.Habibullin also took part in the celebration of the 223rd anniversary. An agreement on economic, cultural and business cooperation between the municipal district of Bavly of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation and the Municipality of Komrat of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia of the Republic of Moldova was signed at the celebration. The Head of the municipal district of Bavly A.G.Habibullin was awarded the title of “An Honorary Citizen of the municipality of Comrat” for his important contribution to the strengthening of friendly relations between the people of the Republic of Tatarstan and Gagauzia, and active support of humanitarian projects and establishment of economic relations between the regions.
It should be noted that there were a lot of participants both on the first and the second days of the celebration. Perhaps this new-born tradition of celebrating the anniversary of Comrat, has become very popular not only for the residents of the city, but for many people in Gagauzia as well. People look forward to this holiday and take active part in it. The supply of emotions which they had received from the holiday program will serve as a solid basis for good work, and will help them be kind and helpful in order to unite and work together to raise the level of the city of Comrat
And let the wishes of the guests come true so that Comrat would prosper, grow prettier and develop economically.
Let the sky above the city be always peaceful and clean. Let only fireworks light up the sky as it was lit up at the celebration.
