Grozny City Administration’s Telegram Channel Is the Best One in Russia

The Media Relations Department of the Grozny City Administration became leader in the category “Best Telegram Channel” among all municipal press services in VII All-Russian contest “Journalists for Local Self-Government”. Social networks were evaluated according to several criteria, including the quality of design, the number of subscribers, channel activity, and the quality of video, photo and text material.

It should be reminded that earlier the Information Department of the city administration also ranked first in the category “The Best Press Service of the Administration of the Center of the Russian Federation Subject”.

The contest was organized by the Russian Municipal Academy, the Union of Journalists of Russia and the magazine “Issues of Local Self-Government. Strategy and Practice of Municipal Development”. The participants of the event were representatives of various constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The contest aimed to enhance the professionalism of journalists, press secretaries and PR-specialists, as well as create a platform for sharing experience and popularizing best practices in the sphere of local self-government.
