The Head of the municipality of Bishkek Isa Omurkulov met with the Vice-Mayor of the city of Liège (Belgium) Serge Mantovani.
During the meeting the sides signed an agreement between the cities of Bishkek and Liege on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation and the status of the twin cities of the two major cities.
The document was signed in order to develop co-operation between the cities of Bishkek and Liege. As part of this agreement, Bishkek and Liege have established twin-city relations based on equality, mutual trust and interest.
During the conversation between Isa Omurkulov and Serge Mantovani, it became clear that the first bridge of friendly relations between Central Asia and Europe had already been built.
