Aktau and Turkestan Are among the Leaders of the Quality of Life Rating

Turkestan, Aktau, Stepnogorsk, Kyzylorda and Atyrau became the leaders of the National rating of quality of life among 26 cities of Kazakhstan. The Economic Research Institute (ERI) provided its research on the cities of Kazakhstan based on the results of 2023.

The study examines 110 indicators, of which 70 are statistical and 40 survey. The positions of the leading cities were formed from statistical indicators and the results of a survey of city residents. Citizens assessed the availability of preschool education, air quality, the noise level, the number of offenses and safety, availability of social facilities, parameters of improvement, quality of medical services.
