In Kazan, organizers have already started to prepare equipment for the celebration of Sabantuy. According to the city administration, this year 15 special areas with various national entertainments will be organized for the Kazan residents and guests. There will be summer cafes, Tatar souvenirs and national cuisine.

People are invited to ride horses and try national cuisine. In addition, everyone can take part in the Tatar folk games.

In Bishkek, the holiday will be celebrated on June 28. Sabantuy will be accompanied by folk festivals, national Tatar contests and dances. Singers and dancers from Tatarstan will take part in the holiday. Winners of national competitions will be awarded with memorable gifts.

This year, Sabantuy will take place in the city of Makhachkala for the first time. There will be a lot of Tatar national dishes, performing artists and the traditional Tatar wrestling on belts – "kuresh".
