UCLG-Eurasia took part in VIII Kazan Eurasian Scientific and Practical Forum. The forum took place on June 10-11, 2019 in the city of Kazan under the patronage of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. Among the participants were political leaders, economic experts and scientists from the Eurasian countries.
Within the section “The place and role of countries and regions of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Union in the integration Eurasian processes” Rasikh Sagitov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Regional Section of UCLG, made a report on the theme “Inter-municipal cooperation in the CIS countries as a key factor of the strengthening of the Eurasian integration”.
