Rasikh Sagitov, Secretary-General of UCLG-Eurasia visited the city of Murmansk and the city of Petrozavodsk.
During the official meeting with Irina Miroshnik, Head of the Petrozavodsk urban district the certain agreements were reached regarding the further participation of Petrozavodsk in the activities of UCLG-Eurasia. Taking this opportunity, Rasikh Sagitov congratulated Irina Miroshnik and all the citizens with the Day of Petrozavodsk, which will be celebrated on June 30. Moreover, it was decided that one representative of the Council of municipal formations of the Republic of Karelia will visit a training session on the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals, which will be held on October 5-6 within the framework of the Eurasia Local Governments Congress in the city of Cheboksary.
While visiting the city of Murmansk, Rasikh Sagitov met with Dmitrii Filippov, Head of the municipal formation of the city of Murmansk. Dmitrii Filippov expressed his readiness to send one representative of the Council of municipal formations of the Murmansk region to participate in a training session within the framework of the Eurasia Local Governments Congress.
