Movement to sustainable development: A statistical report was presented in Rostov-on-Don

The statistical report “The Rostov region – Movement to sustainable development” was officially presented in Rostov-on-Don. To prepare the report official statistics, indicators of departmental statistics and open sources were used.

“The Sustainable Development Goals are connected with the national projects. The results of the statistical studies give the opportunity to analyze and evaluate the place of our region in the world. An example of the Rostov region has become a benchmark for other regions and the basis for the nationwide statistical report on the SDGs implementation”, - said Marina Samoilova, Head of the Territorial Body of Federal State Statistics Service for the Rostov Region.

This is the first such experience for the Rostov region. The results of this work has confirmed the global competitive advantages of the Rostov region, as a region of sustainable development.
