An Ecological Campaign Will Take Place in Krasnodar

The administration of the city of Krasnodar invites all the citizens to take part in an environmental campaign to collect hazardous waste. The social action will be held in the several districts of the city on June 15, 2019.

This action is aimed at increasing the ecological culture of citizens and drawing attention to the problem of separate collection of hazardous waste and its further disposal. The city leadership expects that representatives of environmental and youth organizations, activists and citizens will contribute to the action.

On June 15, mercury lamps, thermometers, expired medicines, batteries, cartridges, electronic devices, used oils, car tires, metal and glass containers will be collected at the special collection points.

Collected waste will be neutralized and disposed of, part of the collected items will be involved in recycling.
