A third-generation “MAZ-303” bus manufactured at the Minsk Automobile Plant in Belarus will be tested in Kazan. The capital of the Republic of Tatarstan will be the first city in Russia where such a vehicle will appear.
The new “MAZ-303” is 12.43 meters in length. It is estimated that the cabin can accommodate up to 110 passengers. Inside, a new system of handrails was used, the salon is equipped with USB-ports for charging gadgets and a climate control system with five heaters and air conditioning. Belarusian TV-channels call the vehicle the “bus of the future”.
Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Vladimir Semashko, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, agreed to test a new bus on Kazan streets during the visit of Vladimir Semashko to Kazan in early September.
