Bishkek Citizens Plant Trees in Parks Themselves

A green challenge “Park for life” takes place in the city of Bishkek from September 1, 2019. Within the frameworks of the challenge Bishkek families plant family trees themselves.

During the campaign, more than 30 families and 15 organizations planted around 200 trees. Especially popular are birches, lindens and maples. There are many citizens wishing to plant their family tree, so many areas for planting have already been booked in advance. Autumn planting will last until September 20.

For the successful tree planting and their adaptation, as well as for the convenience of the citizens the Municipality of Bishkek published special requirements for seedlings and created an online channel in the messenger. There the citizens can ask all the questions about the planting.
