The Moscow leadership is mobilizing young people to create the projects on the city improvement. The Moscow City Duma has presented the contest “My city – My Moscow”. In its framework the citizens aged 10 to 25 years can present their proposals on the subject of beautification of the capital. The best projects will be subsequently implemented.
Stepan Orlov, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Municipal Economy and Housing Policy: “Moscow is changing. Large-scale programs are being implemented, but who will live in this city of the 21st century? Of course, these are the young Moscow citizens. Now they are studying in schools and universities. We are making Moscow more beautiful, safer and more hospitable for them. It is impossible to do this work without them.”
