The Second Forum “Culturalica” Brought Together Experts From Around the World

On 7-9 February II Laboratory of cultural projects “Culturalica” gathered participants in Yekaterinburg. For three days, leading Russian and international experts will discuss the most pressing issues of contemporary culture. Representatives of government, business, event industries and urban communities will develop new projects that can be implemented not only in Yekaterinburg, but also in other cities.

“Holding this event is very significant for the city. In 2018, Yekaterinburg became the venue for several global events - the World Cup, the 295th anniversary of the city. Now we are all waiting for a decision on whether our city will become the capital of the Universiade 2023. I am sure that within the framework of the forum the participants will discuss the introduction of new technologies in all spheres of culture, exchange experiences and thereby give a new impetus to the development of the city”, - Dmitry Baranov, Deputy Mayor of Yekaterinburg for Social Policy.

“Culturalica” was conceived as a platform where actual problems of the cultural sphere are formulated and fresh solutions are generated. The laboratory should develop new creative initiatives and contribute to the development of the competencies of specialists in the cultural sphere and the convergence of the professional community, government bodies and representatives of the creative industry.
