A Learning Seminar on the Implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction Took Place in Astrakhan

On August 7-8, 2018, a learning seminar on the theme: “Implementing the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction for 2015-2030 at the national and local levels: theory and practice” took place in the city of Astrakhan.

The learning seminar was organized in the form of business games using the evaluation tool of the United Nations Global Campaign Disaster Resilience Scorecard for Cities in Russian. Earlier the similar events were held in the Republic of Dagestan and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Heads of municipalities, chairmen of the commissions for emergency situations and fire safety, specialists in the field of civil defense and protection from emergency situations took part in the seminar.
