UCLG-Eurasia Delivered a Lecture at the University

Secretary General of UCLG-Eurasia Rasikh Sagitov delivered a lecture to students of the Institute of International Relations and Oriental Studies of Kazan Federal University. The lecture took place on April 23, 2019.

The purpose of the visit was to tell the students about activities of the Eurasia section of UCLG and international intermunicipal cooperation as a whole.

According to Rasikh Sagitov, international activity is often associated only with the state, national level, whereas many local and regional governments actively develop international relations and take part in activities of world organizations.
